A brilliant career, he owes a lot to the successful integration of the saxophone in the famous works of classical music. Gary Louie repeatedly performed as a soloist with the American National Symphony orchestra at the performing arts Center John F. Kennedy and with the Baltimore Symphony orchestra. The musician has toured through Europe; recipient of numerous awards and grants. An avid lover of contemporary music, Gary Louis was actively involved in the performance and promotion of new works for saxophone. Currently is a Professor at the Peabody Conservatory. Professor and soloist Theodore Kerkezos – one of the most popular Greek saxophonists. He has state awards and twice nominated for a Grammy. Constantly performing as a solo artist with the London Symphony orchestra, the Moscow Symphony radio orchestra, the academic orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Symphony orchestras of Zurich, Nuremberg and Athens in the most prestigious halls in the world; worked with Yuri Bashmet, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Yuri Simonov. In 2012 unanimously elected a foreign member of the Russian Academy of natural Sciences. For a long time cooperates with the publisher Alphonse Leduc Editions Musicales – writes books about the saxophone and saxophone.
